A week of work

Okay its Saturday night about 9:54PM EST didn’t do anything fun. Traded in some games for Xbox 360 for my Assassin’s Creed 3 being released in Nov 2011.

What else? Oh yeah it was my birthday yesterday, that was  boring.

Hoping to get the rest of Franklin’s harness the week of the 26th from The Wag, Inc.

Home and boredom

So yeah going home to Albany, Georgia  on Monday. Not sure if it’s a good idea or not, but its better then being at mum and dad’s bored very day. Going to try and work Tuesday that maybe I really bad idea. Still have to do the drops 4 times daily and the bio glee stuff at bedtime. That stuff is a pain to do since it doesn’t go onto the len in the right eye,

I think that’s everything. By the way using Windows Live Writer 2011 on Windows 7 its so much easier.

Bye folks!

A new guide dog harness from The Wag Canada and new GPS

So when I got my tax returns, I chose to buy a new harness for Franklin. I had heard about a new company in Canada, named: The Wag Canada and saw on the site that they make a harness similar to the one used by Guide Dogs for the Blind. Which I really like so I chose to buy. Tabar finished the main body in about a week and the handle in another week. But the annoying part is all the small clips and screws be needs to order. as of 5/1/2011 I do not yet have my order.

I really hope the harness is worth the $260 I paid for it.

The easy all-in-one handheld talking GPS for people who are blind or low vision.

HumanWare introduces the very simple and affordable GPS for people who are visually impaired. As simple as your TV remote, the Trekker Breeze handheld talking GPS can be controlled by one hand. It verbally announces names of streets, intersections and landmarks as you walk. No need to stop passersby to know where you are... simply press a button and Breeze tells you your location on the spot. When you are in a vehicle, Breeze announces all intersections, allowing you to exit when you want.

Run Aways

Title: Run Aways

Okay so here visting Sam for New Years weekend in Merietta, GA. Well Franklin and Mason, were playing like dogs do. Sam went to take them out to park/busy, going to the bathroom and they run off around the neightborhood. Franklin ame back after like maybe 5 minutes and I went loooking for Mason, who wanted to run pass me every time he saw me. So it look I'd say 45 mintues for Mason to FINALLY come back to Sam.

SHort review of the Har-vest

This is a review of the Har-Vest from A Better Pet ( http://www.abetterpet.com ).

I bought the Har-Vest to replace another dog backpack I had that was too heavy for Franklin to wear with his guide harness.

Today when i check my Mail I found the Har-Vest Package waitin for me. Me and Franklin spent a few moments play with the straps to put them in place and sized them to fit. Once fitted I put it onto Franklin's back. He had this look of "Oh wow" I think it reminds from of his vest from his Puppy Raising. With that on I put Franklin guide harness on and we start walking.

First thing I saw that was different from that big bulky was that it was smaller, but not too small. We started walking his speed was normal, and I could get to hop-up ( get him to go faster) and then he slowed to his normal speed. It fit find to have both on at the same. The Chest fit good, the Girth seems to big but I think I can work with that and the belly strap.

Well be working with it tomorrow so well give more information tomorrw.

Franklin and Georgia Snow

Okay so last week we had snow, not much but enough that Franklin looked at me after work like: "What is this stuff?" So we walked through it to get to the bus stop. After waiting in the snow and going the usual route we're home. We went inside and down off our stuff and went to play in the snow. Franklin had some much fun he enjoyed it alot.

for today 2/20/2010
I thought I was to get my package of Franklin's new harness and backpack, not sure if the seller put the right address or not or maybe the mail is slow this week. Oh and saso I'm sick today and did nothing at all, all day, so Franklin was mad with me when i went back to bed Noon and spelt until 2. Then went to check the Mail, nothing at all! I'm so annoyed. I hope I get the damn package on Monday or have to file a cailm with USPS for a lost item.

Yours,
Sean and Franklin
